Welcome!

First off, special thanks to Albert for creating this great new website! Go ahead, look around and familiarize yourself and explore to keep up to date with our club. On another note, these last few events determine your active status. Remember to look under the "membership" tab to see how close you are to active status and uncover which events you would need to attend. We will be having an event at Vice night club April 24th, 9:30pm till 2:00am. Tickets are valid until 11:00pm then there's a discounted entry with your ticket until midnight. The theme is Red and Black, and this is a 21 and up event. Keep in mind ticket price is $5 and will be 100% profit towards your quota! It's going to be a lot of fun so contact any board member to pick up a ticket and see you there!

For those of you who didn't attend, Aloha Banquet is a concluding event for our club. At this event the active members are recognized for their dedication to our club. Also there is a candle lighting ceremony for the switching of the executive board. This years venue was a the Pacific Beach Hotel and this event was arranged by our Treasure, Keoni. Fall 2012 Executive Board Candidates

This year's PI with KPMH was held at Dave and Buster's. The event consisted of great food and games, while of course getting to know and learning from the professionals. Everyone participated in a "scavenger hunt", which was really time to break into groups and play countless games with professionals. After we ate and did the scavenger hunt, we have free time to play pool or continue playing games while spending time with the KPMG team. The event was a great opportunity, definitely one to keep an eye out for next semester.

This year's Joint Venture was a great success featuring ten of hilarious teams. For those of you who couldn't make it the theme was Superheroes; the teams included X-Men, Power Rangers, Fantastic Four, Powerpuff Girls, Spiderman, Superman, Ironman, Thor, Dragon Ball Z and Captain Planet. Throughout the event, randomly selected students were awarded prizes donated by various accounting firms. After the presentations, an excellent dinner was supplied by Marcus Asahina; our former Vice President who recently started a catering company. Enjoying dinner while networking with professionals was a fantastic way to conclude the comical event. Look on YouTube, as the skits will soon be available!

For this event, we were located Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City, at the intersection of Waimano Home Road. Beta Alpha Psi and Deloitte accompanied us and together we contributed in raising over $4,800 for the American Red Cross Hawaii! It was encouraging to witness how generous people were; which I believe gave this event a lot of meaning and was a valuable experience to those who helped out.

Arcade Night

This year we had a combined (Video) Game Night and Casino Night that I dubbed as “Arcade Night.” For (Video) Game Night we typically indulge our geeky sides and play video and board games. Casino Night is exactly what it sounds; it is a costume themed event where we try to make as much money as we can to bid on prizes at the end of the night.

E&Y Professional Interaction

E&Y set up a detective game that had students running aroudn to various characters to investigate who was behind fraud at a fictitious company.

Camp

“Fast Devil” requires having to listen to instructions from multiple people and being able to respond with a corresponding motion quickly. The “Spoon Game” requires accuracy and good motor body control. “Evolution” is a game of luck. “SPUD” tested listening and strategy. “Jolly Green Giant” was a fun energetic closing game. The club was also required to build a sandcastle using the theme “Ninja” to be judged by one of our alumni.
