FLAME OF RECCA
Flame of Recca is about Recca Hanibishi, your regular,
albeit somewhat Ninja-obsessed, high school student ... or so he thinks.
When he accidentally discovers he holds the incredible power to shoot
flames from his forearm, slowly a mysterious and treacherous history begins
to unfold in Flame of Recca.
Flame of Recca is based on a hugely popular weekly manga comic in Japan.
Sent from more than 400 years ago in feudal Japan by
his own mother, Recca discovers that his extraordinary powers come from
weapons called Madougu - the ability to control specific elements. Along
with a band of school mates, Recca refines his skills in martial arts,
totally unaware he is a descendent of the powerful Hokage Ninja.
But he is not the only one. His half brother too has
flown through the passage of time to the modern age where the two will
meet as rivals again.
