Biography: Although 17-year-old Tokiya Mikagami acts aloof and cold most of the time, he really isn't as bad as he is made out to be. Despite the fact that he tells the others that he really doesn't care about them, later on he thaws out slightly, although it isn't really obvious.
   Tokiya is also an extremely good fighter. He is able to memorize the enemies' attacks after fighting only for a short while and doesn't lose his cool during battle like Recca or Fuuko.
    An orphan, he was only 10 when his only living relative, his sister, was killed by some people who wished to steal the Ensui. Tokiya blames himself for his sister's death because she had jumped in front of him to block a blow directed at him. As a result, she died, and Tokiya has carried this burden around with him for 7 years. This is the reason why he remains anti-social and pushes away anyone who tries to make friends with him. He does not want to become close to anyone, as he is afraid that they will die and cause him more pain, as well because he has been thinking only of avenging his sister.
