The Road to Phase III (the Hamilton Addition)

We started on the Road to Phase III in the early 1980s, when the Library began in-house planning and the target date for Phase III completion was 1985.

After a long delay, planning funds were finally appropriated in 1989. An architect was selected to design the new Addition. Construction was scheduled to begin in 1991 with a completion date of 1995.
