Aloha, We have all seen the horrific photographs of the aftermath of the recent earthquake in Turkey (Türkiye) and Syria. Here are a few NGOs already on scene: Doctors without Borders (Medecins sans Frontieres) Mercy Corps (Note: Mercy Corps was already in Syria when the earthquake hit and was thus able to respond immediately.) UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) or go directly to the UNICEF website specifically for the USA: UNICEF USA (Note: The "UNICEF USA" web-site allows one to donate in U.S. currency and, if you wish, to record your donation on your tax form.) USA for UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) (Note: "Refugees" in this case includes people who have lost everything in the earthquake and are in need of food, shelter, blankets, etc., immediately.)
