If you are looking for inexpensive Hawaii souvenirs to take home for family, friends, and coworkers, the Maui Swap Meet is a place to check out.

It is open on Saturdays on the grounds of Maui Community College in Kahului. Admission is fifty cents and parking is free. On hand are vendors of all types selling clothing, food, jewelry, knickknacks, and more. Prices are reasonable and many vendors are open to negotiating prices.

Recommended are:

The jam/jelly/butter stand where you can sample and purchase fresh fruit jams, jellies, mustards, butter and more all made from Maui-grown ingredients. For $15 you can get six small jars to share with those at home.

O'o Organic Farm stand where you can get fresh fruits and veggies. The folks at the stand will pretty much let you sample anything.
