I am sending this email to request to make up the quiz given yesterday. I was not in class though, your makeup policy indicates that a student can retake a quiz if the student has a good reason. In the morning of the day that the quiz was given, my grandfather had a heart attack at our house and I had to take him to a hospital. Thereafter, I had to stay there to wait for him to regain conciousness. He is still in ICU though, his condition is now stable. Please let me know when I will be able to take a makeup quiz.
