Procedures for Makeup & Deadline Extension
When a student missed a class (and hence in-class exercises)
due to illness or injury or a reason beyond the student's control

Visit a doctor and
get a doctor's note dated on the day of the missed class

Contact me by email within 3 days after the missed class
(or the date that the doctor's note suggests the student to recover enough to contact me)
and attach an image file of the doctor's note (e.g., by using a camera or scanner) to the email.

Makeup exercises and their deadlines will be notified to the student by email.
When a student could not meet a deadline of an assignment
due to illness or injury or a reason beyond the student's control

Follow the same procedure to get an extension of the deadline
