The 1997 Honolulu City Lights Parade was televised by Honolulu Municipal Television (HMTV) over one of the public access cable channels. At least three times, I could be seen on the other side of the street. I figure I was on screen for a total of roughly eight seconds.

Near the beginning of the parade, as the Royal Hawaiian Band passed by. I could be seen for about four or five seconds.

A flash of jacket and traffic vest could be seen, as the camera panned from right to left while the grand marshall (Chuck-somebody from Bank of America) drove by.

Toward the end of the parade, as the Mililani High School band & marching units marched by.
