March 2016   Dr. Guoli Song has joined our laboratory for one year as a Visiting Scholar from Shenzhen University in Shenzhen City, China. She is a faculty researcher at this institute and will be working with our research group to determine potential roles for selenoproteins in neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s Disease.

January 2016    Dr. Jianke Zhang from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia visited the lab and gave a great presentation at our seminar series regarding death receptor signaling. Yes, those are feral chickens over his shoulder in the background.
