I've been a member of the English faculty at UHM since 1997. I teach classes in literature, literary theory, and rhetoric.

I also serve on the editorial board for TinFish Press and on the advisory committee for the Pacific New Media Web Design Certificate Program.

My current project focuses on the ethics of Emmanuel Levinas in relation to contemporary American and British fiction.
