MALAMA I NA MANU MAOLI
This is a registered independent organization of undergraduate
zoology majors interested in conserving Hawaii's birds. (Protect the
native birds). Students engage in census work, demographic studies
based on mist-netting, and disease studies. The major site is Lyon
Arboretum located close to the Manoa campus. Students also work at
other sites on Oahu and even travel to Hakalau Forest National
Wildlife Refuge on the Island of Hawaii.
