Research Interests:

hormonal regulation of larval finfish development. Use of thyroid hormone supplements to promote larval development in finfish culture. Large-scale practical applications in the culture of edible fishes have been realized as a result, and we are studying possible new applications in the ornamental fishes. These studies require a multidisciplinary approach involving molecular biology, and endocrinology.
