within the department, as well as management and supervision responsibilities
for a diverse group of over 40 full-time and contract faculty. I am also involved in a number of college
wide initiatives, research projects, and committees.

Academic Coordinator
Responsibilities included: administration of students and classes, supervision
of 23 teachers, and management of personnel issues for academic staff. Under previous administrative structure, I
served as the Curriculum & Assessment Coordinator responsible for
designing, managing, and implementing curricula for all courses offered at the
institute. I worked extensively with
the academic program and in-house curriculum development (which included: needs
analysis, conceptual framework, curriculum design, and materials
development). I also served as the
Teacher Education Coordinator for three years prior to my last portfolio. My responsibilities in that capacity
included teacher education, supervision, and assessment of a staff of 67
teachers. I was also responsible for conducting in-service professional
development workshops and seminars, and organizing in-house and open
conferences.
