H I T h e r e !Gosh darn it, another dang semester is here again.
Welcome to my wacky world! Unfortunately, aside from being a bit wacky, my life is pretty dull, which is really going to make these pages boring. But anyways, since I'm being graded on this, I guess that I have to say something, so I'll start off at the very beginning.
My name is Ellen Yasunaga and I am currently an Senior majoring in ICS (Information and Computer Science). Although I am classified as a senior, I'm only about a sophmore level if you're looking at how close I am to graduating. (That's what happens when you can't figure out what to major in) From that, you can pretty much tell that I'm OLD.
I was born, uh, a while back, at Kapiolani Hospital. Unlike my friend Jodi, I wasn't born in a car or anywhere else kinda interesting, just a hospital, where all the other boring births happen. I wasn't even a very interesting birth at that. Just your average Caesarian. *sigh*
After my birth, I lived with my parents and my paternal grandmother in Kaimuki. Our house was finished in September, a few months after I was born, so we moved there as soon as it was done. I don't remember any of this, but I figure my parents wouldn't lie to me about it.
I grew, I aged, I got taller and my hair filled in (I was a bald baby for a loooong time) and I went to Kapunahala Elementary in Kaneohe (where I lived and still live) then King Intermediate (all that bad stuff you heard on the news were the years preceding and after my year) and then Castle High school. At Castle it was fun, because I got to fully learn how to outcast myself by being myself.
I went to Windward Community College after that, and that was a nice campus, close to home and nice and green. Unfortunately the variety of classes there were really limited, so I had to leave and come here to UH. UH is nice, but I kinda thought it would rain more. Kaneohe is usually either cloudy or rainy, so I thought Manoa would be like that too, but it's been hot and dry, with occasional showers that leave you hot and sticky. Ick. But other than that it's okay. At least it has lots of places to eat. WCC doesn't even have a cafeteria.
If you want to see what classes I'm taking, you can look at my ICS 211 page.
An interesting thing I've noticed about the people here at UH is that there are a lot of girls, and yet there are a lot of guys without girl friends, and a vast majority of the girls have boyfriends already. It's kinda weird. And, another thing I've noticed is that every girl here on campus is either pretty, skinny, busty or some combination of the three. I seriously feel like the only ugly girl on campus, and it's really been horrible for my IALAC. *sigh*
I took the Kiersey Temperament test thing and came out as an INFP, which if you don't already know, stands for Introverted, INtuitive, Feeling and Perceiving (as opposed to Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) which I think is fairly accurate. Thanks the Brandon I also took TheSpark's.com Famous Personality Test, which was kinda fun. For that I came out as a Dreamer, which is also pretty concise.
Okay, here is the required picture of me. I was a very bald baby, I know, and strangely enough for a pure Japanese, my hair was a very light brown, but it looks normal now (albeit continuously poofy). I would've put up a more recent picture, but UH has a thing about not putting up any offensive matter, so oh well.
Anyways, that's it for me. Maybe I will add more later.
