Charles J. Simmons, Ph.DAfter completing his MS and Ph.D degrees in physical/inorganic chemistry at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dr. Simmons has been teaching undergraduate and graduate chemistry courses for the past 20 years. He is currently director of the Minority Biomedical Research Support (MBRS/NIH) X-ray Diffraction Laboratory at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
