Haha... ok, got a funny story to tell you guys... So we went to McDonald's for lunch today (finally! no marriott!!!). So standing in line to order... they lady is a bit off. I ordered a chicken mcnugget meal... and asked if I could have a shake instead of the drink. So she goes off and gets all the food and stuff. She goes and starts to make a mcflurry... and then she stops and asks... where's that guy who wanted a mcflurry? We're all like, we didn't order that... so I told her i wanted a shake and she's like, "oh yeah..." Uhh... and then someone else was ordering... and they had that coupon for a meal for $1.49. She didn't know how to ring it up I guess... She has to ask her manager... so the manager explains it to her, and then tells her that it'll come out total after tax to $1.55. So she goes back to the counter and then asks what size drink they want... umm... doesn't the meal come with a medium drink? oh well... but wait... it gets better.. haha... the total price came out to be $1.43... hahaha... right after her manager tells her that is should be $1.55. Hmm... kinda makes you wonder when this is only McDonald's... hahha.. Ok... well, that's my story.

Ok... wow. I've been working on one thing for the past like 3 hours now. hehe.... it's all good. I'm in the process of revamping this whole site... so keep on the look out for changes soon! I feel inspired... hehe. Let me know what you guys think about the changes... yeah, don't say that my flash thing sucks... I know that already... hehe.. but like my banner and stuff. I'm gonna redo this whole site and probably add another section to it.. hehe.. those of you who know me can probably guess on what... hehee... =)

Woohoo... Flash is fun. Well, sorta. I spent all last night trying to figure out the program... even though I had to study for my ICS211 midterm... ah, what the heck. hehe... all my midterms thus far this semester I haven't studied for. Well, it's not so bad... it's more like I dindn't think I really needed to study. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing though... heheh

So anyways, yeah, I added my first attempt to making something with flash on my welcome page. I guess it's not that bad... graphics could be a little better though. Ah well, it's a start. Better than nothing eh? Yeah.. still working on it...

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope the cupid's arrows hits you in the right place... uh...

Anyways, Valentine's doesn't have anything to do with what I'm thinking about... heheh... anyways, so I was talking to this kid, and asking them what kind of TV shows they watch. So I was like, Sesame Street? And he looks at me like, "What the heck is that?" Geez... am I that old??? *sigh* I remember back in the days when I used to watch Sesame Street and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood... ah the good 'ol days. I wish life was that simple...

You know, I made this speech at my elementary school last year... and I mentioned how when I was younger that all I wanted was to be older. I used to look at everyone else and wish I was like them. But you know, now that I'm older, I wish I was younger again. heheh...

Anyways, so I guess that's my thought for the day. I guess you can't stop yourself from getting older (physically anyways), but there's always denial! hehe... as travis would put it, "I'm going to be twenteen." Ok... time for bed... me tired.

Hmm... you know, never thought setting up a proxy server could be so difficult... =( hehe. Ah well. I've been trying to figure out all of these settings for the longest of time, but can't quite seem to get it. Hmm... aahh... and I gotta work on my program for ics211. Yep, another wonderful applet. Oh how I wish we were taught applets in 111. Ok, gonna try mess around with the server again. Working tonight too. So don't have much time. =(

Wow... can you believe it? I haven't written anything in my journal since before Chinese New Years. Oh no! What is this world comming to? heheh... ok.. anyways...

So Chinese New Years has come and gone. It's now officially the year of the Dragon... but not just the dragon, the Golden Dragon... ooouuu... Anyways... so did more performances this weekend. Hey, we did one for the Governor too at the Kahala Mandarin Hotel. The Governor held this banquet I guess for all these representatives from all the different International Embassys (is that how you spell it?). That was pretty cool... to say the least... But wait. It gets even better! We got to eat at the hotel too.. so all you can eat buffet. Lobster tails, sushi, sashimi, even a won ton bar! Oh does life get any better.. =) hehe... Well, I guess it does.

I can officially say that I bit the governor.

With the lion you people! Where are your minds? Geez... hehe... But he's so cheap! He only fed the lion a dollar... when there's other people there giving like $20. Ha! That's a state worker for you... hm.. but maybe it's good that he's like that. Heck, it's our money that he was giving... hmm...

So yeah, I guess that's my story with that. It was a good performance. Everyone seemed impressed (except for the governor... and maybe that Scottish guy wearing the kilt, but oh well. can't win 'em all I guess eh?). I guess that's it for now. It's kinda late, and although I'm not really tired, I know I should be getting to bed soon. I know I'll be tired tomorrow... I guess that's what 141 is for... hehe...

My thought for the day (or entry or whatevers): I am happy with my hub that I just bought for $50. hehe... whoa... this little quote idea is taking a drastic change huh? Haha.. I just thought about more to write to you guys. Ah well.... we'll save that for some other time...

Ok, this is going to be short. I gotta get going soon. Just finished my Chemistry Midterm. We'll see how I did... it did take longer than I expected though. heheh... Didn't think 15 questions would have taken that long. Anyways, gotta be going soon. Lots of performances this weekend that I gotta go to. Oh, heard another quote today in my Econ class: The more you have of something, the less you'll pay for it. Or, as I'll translate, the more you have of something than the less you value it. Well, I guess I have no choice though huh? Better be going before my next class starts. I would have just stayed home today but I needed to come to school so that I could finish my ICS211 program. It's due at 10 tonight... but oh well. Got lecture too so kinda didn't want to miss that. I did skip ICS141 and Japanese though... ah well. I gotta get better before this weekend! Ok, so I have to tell you about my lunch. Once again Marriott has not failed to up keep their wonderful image of excellence...

So they had this special thing... You know how like in San Fran they have those chowder bowls, where the bowl is made out of bread? Well, they had that too. I guess it wasn't that bad, considering that it's Marriott.. but that was only until I got to the salad. So there I was, eating the salad... when I come across a leaf with a mosquito stuck to it. Lovely.. but I figure that one bug isn't their fault. Can't really help that.. but then I come across yet another leaf with another bug stuck to it. Yup... that's Marriott for you.

Well, just thought I'd share that little story with all of you... =)

Ok, so it's 12:15 am right now. Not sleeping yet, obviously. Don't know... just been thinking to myself. I don't know what I'm doing now. I do have homework to do, but I don't feel like doing it. Don't really feel like doing anything. Well, the first month of this year is over. What have I accomplished so far? hmm... What about you? I don't know what I want to accomplish this year. Any new year's resolutions? Hmm... something for me to ponder now as I lay trying to get to sleep. Oh! Haha... now I know why I have to stay up. I'm waiting for my clothes to finish drying. Speaking of which, I think it just stopped. Well, I guess that's my cue to be going. I'm still sick... =(

Ok, just decided to make a little journal of what I'm thinking every now and then. I don't know how often I'll write in here.. but for now, we'll see what happens... hehe...

Well, the first month of the new year is pretty much over. I hope everyone else is having a better new year than I am so far. Right now I just got sick. I think it's because it was cold at home and I didn't really have a thick blanket on... oh well.

So now it's on to Chinese New Years... lots and lots of performance for my Chinese Club. If you guys don't know what I'm talking about then check out my Lung Kong page. I've been part of the club for... hmm... I think since the 4th grade? Yeah, something like that. So that would make it 10 years now? Something like that. Anyways, so kinda busy now. Been working on some new stuff too for the club... me and Travis are kinda going hardcore with the club now. :) Let's just hope we don't kill ourselves... hehehe

So the year of the dragon will come on February 5th. Hey... maybe it's my second chance to have a decent new year. heheh... Let's just say that my new year's hasn't been what I expected it to be earlier last year... but oh well...
