whoa... look at the time.
so at work now... it's cold... and i'm feeling ill... i don't know.
it's weird... like yesterday mornign my stomach was feeling weird... kinda
upset. then this morning i woke up and same problem. but i also started
to feel worse. body aches, chills.... all the signs of the flu. =\ was
cold pretty much all morning... went to my lab in the afternoon...
luckily it was pretty warm in there... was plannign on skipping work and
going home after my lab but then i felt better so decided to stay. i'm
feeling better than what i was earlier today but still feeling a bit
off... =\ i think i'm just gonna hit the shower and get to bed once i
get home.
on a brighter note... the midterm i was supposed to have today that got
pushed up from thursday because my prof was supposed to have jury duty
today was pushed back to thursday, the original day because his court date
got postponed so he has to call tonight to find out if he has to go
thursday. haha... understand? yeah, was supposed to have a midterm for
clac today, but since i wasn't feeling that good i dind't study last
night.... so it's kinda good that it got pushed to thursday... at least
that gives me more time to procrasti.... uh, study. nah, i would study
but i'm still not feeling too well and i can't concentrate right now.
even in my classes today... (i hate tuesdays btw) i just wanted to go home
and sleep.
well going to see my doctor again for my thumbs on thursday... speaking of
which i need to email my boss to say i'll be late for work that night.
alright... we'll see what the doc says...

well let's see... been going to rehab since my last operatoin on my thumbs...
still can't bend it fully either. i don't knwo if i'll ever have full range in
it.... or even 50% from the way it looks now. augh...
took my first physics midterm today... augh... let's not tlak about that. i'm
in a bad mood... not just school but some other things too... well, not bad
mood, but just stressed and confused. one of those times again...

went shopping today at ala moana... man how i miss my car... caught the
bus there but then we also went walking around to stores outside of the
mall... man summer is not a good time to get hurt and lose a car.
*sniff* i miss my car... and plus lugging all the packages around isn't
too fun either. on the plus side i did get alot of things on sale for
cheap! =) wow i havent' shopped in a long time... but i had to charge it
all because i'm out of cash right now. =( so more bills... couldn't
help it. =\
gonna go see my orthopedic doctor tomorrow, well, later today. hopefully
he'll have some good news for me. supposedly we have to schedule for when
my follow-up operation will be. wondering if he'll do it before i leave
to las vegas or will it be after... i'm just wondering if it's gonna hurt
like it did the first time. >_< if it is i think i'd want to do the
operation after i come back home...
oh!!! i got a stitch doll today!!! heheh.... "you forgot to mention

Been drinking milk since my accident periodically. Trying to drink it
daily but it makes my stomach upset when I drink milk. I don't know why.
I used to be ok with it… then it was more of a morning thing that I'd feel
sick. Now if I drink too much my stomach gets really upset. Hope I'm not
lactose intolerant. Ice cream is good though… =) Mom is keeping our
stock of ice cream at a stable level for me.
oh... and word of advice...
Never get hurt during the summer - having bandages when it's hot out isn't
very pleasing... and neither is the smell.
anyone wanna help me unwrap my hands?
oh! went to see lilo and stitch this past sunday!!! haha... it's funny!
i want to see it again... hmm... you think it's on the net by now? hehe...
yeah... but decided to plan an outing with some of the lung kong kids so
we all went out to ward for the movie. that was kinda fun but next time i
think we should plan for something else to do after... need more people
over 25 so we can all go into d&b... heheh

being injured sucks... i swear.. i've never broken any bones before...
and i never want to ever again. >_< it's just so fustrating becuase i
can't do everything that i want to... *sigh* i just wanna get better...
so i can get my life back to normal...
mean while though i'm glad i got some good friends... true i'm even
luckier to have a good family that's taking care of me and like driving me
to work and picking me up, etc, but i also got good friends willing to
drive me around and take me home too even though they live in town.
yesterday some of them decided to stay over at one of their apartments
since we all work together... but i had to go home if i was to stay
over... since i needed my clothes and stuff. so anyways.. all 8 of them
came over to my place, waited for me to grab my stuff and shower then we
went back. i can't wait for my life to get back to normal though... i
miss my car... *sniff*
man i wish i could get my life back in order how it was before all of this
happened... it's just so fustrating that i can't do so much now... my arms
are starting to cramp because of lack of exercise.. and although it's only
my thumbs i need them to do any kind of exercise really (well lifting
wise anyways). so like normally when i start to feel like this i'd do
some push ups or lift some weights.... but well.... augh... ok ok... i'll
stop complaining.
hmm.... the lady that i got into the accident with did however send me a
get well card. got it in the mail today... she said that she hopes i get
better and that she's a mom of 2 boys, one my age and one 18... whiich
goes to UH. i guess that explains what she was doing there on the last
day of finals.... but yeah... that was nice of her although she dind't
say sorry for what happened (maybe don't want to incriminate herself?)
kinda confused me though cause her last name is muraoka... same last name
as my 6th grade teacher... so i was like, wtf? how'd she find out?!
haha... alrighty... i'm out.

the guys i work with are fun... yesterday we were eating pistachios
(spelling?!) and so they all tried opening them without their thumbs...
now they know how i feel! haha
trip coming up sooner and sooner. i'm sorta excited... but i guess more
excited that i'll be seeing the doctor again to see if i can take off the
splints on my hands. augh... it's getting really irritating and
fustrating. i'm still not sleeping that well at night... hands kind of
get in the way... augh... i want to get better...

feeling kinda weird today. muscles are tight... and i can't do anything
really because of the hands. =\ man am i going to be out of shape after
all of this is done. *sigh*
so went to see my orthopedic doctor on... wednesday...? no, thursday i
think. anyways he's still an idiot. haha.. but anyways at least the good
news was that i do'nt have to operate on my right hand. woohoo! and he
said i could take the splint off and exercise my thumb a few times a
day... i've been doing that but it's still stiff and hurts when i bend it
a lot. =\ so yah... just fustrating that i can't even make a fist or
hold any power in it. still weak.
considering going to work again soon. so far still no word from the
insurance. i think tomorrow we're gonna call the other lady's insurance
company and get them to give me my money for my car and for my loss of
wages. >=( damnit... this is taking too long and it's pissing me off.
oh, and city sent me a letter... pretty much saying that if i don't go and
get my car from the tow lot soon, they're going to sell it. augh...

well, nothing to do now. i can't do anything really... so i'll write
here. though i don't think anyone reads it now but ah well... what the
hell....
so yeah, i went into surgery on wednesday. i really didn't know what he
was going to do (meaning if he would operate on my left and right hands or
just the left). he said he'd wait till i was out until checking if my
right needed it since last time he checked i was ready to hit him where it
hurts for putting me thru more pain. he's an idiot... the way he checked
my right thumb is by bending it to the side to see how far it goes... well
given that my hand was bruised and swolen already, him just touching it
hurt... and then he bends my thumb... fine... but he did it twice (just to
show my parents). bastard! augh.... anyways... i think he's an idiot.
so yeah... ended up he just operated on my left hand (thankfully). so
yeah... they had to put the IV into my foot cause it would have been in
the way on my arms. nurse had to stab both feet before finding my
veins.... then in i went. =\ 1.5 hours later i come out drowsy and in
pain... was on pain killers up until 2 days ago too. but it's not as
sore now so i guess that's good. going in for a checkup on thursday to
see how things are and to see if he needs to operate on my right hand.
>_< i hope not! but yeah... still sorta disabled cause i got both hands
in splints now and i can't really do much. =( i hate this... no car and
can't drive myself either. augh... it's gonna be a long 6 weeks.......

haha... wow i guess it's been awhile since i wrote in here. well,
school's out so i guess that's a relief. friday i had my last final....
physics. hehehe... i think i actually could have passed with a b for the
class even if i didn't take the final. heheh... the test was harder than
i expected though. i think a lot of people would agree though. but yeah.
so after my final i left school and got into a car accident.
so this weekend finally got to see star wars episode 2. i loved the fight
scene! hahah.... won't spoil it for you but you'll know which fight scene
i mean. i thought the movie was pretty good, although i'm not really like
a star wars fan. i guess maybe those who didn't like it was expecting too
much maybe? i dunno. i thought it was pretty good. it does leave you
anticipating the next movie though... hehe
oh... so what about my accident? heheh... uh... well, after my final
on friday i was driving on dole street heading towards waialae ave, when i
hit a lady trying to make a left out of the hawaiian studies building. so
i hit her on the drivers side. really all i remember is seeing her,
slamming on my breaks and pushing my horn, and trying to avoid her by
swerving to the left... i still hit her. i think when she saw me coming
she sped up to try and get past me, and so i hit her straight on. all i
remember was seeing her, braking, blasting my horn, crash, then lots of
smoke and realizing that my airbag went off. i was fine... my hands were
just sore. i think the lady was ok... just shaken up and didn't want to
get out until the paramedics got there. i guess i was lucky that there
were other people there who helped out. this one guy was especially
helpful. calling the cops, controlling traffic and helping me get my car
off the road. i don't know where he went after the cops came... i wanted
to thank him.
well, to make the story short, my car is totalled i think. cops put the
lady at fault so i'm just waiting for the insurance to clear to see what
happens. after the accident i thought i was ok... just my hands sore from
the accident. i was more worried about my car actually. but after my dad
got there and my car towed he took me to the hospital to get checked out.
turns out i fractured both my thumbs, the left worse than the right,
though my right hand hurts more (later i realized that it was because the
airbag blew up in my hand. but anyways, my left thumb got fractured at
the joint so my arm is in a splint for 4-8 weeks, and my right is just
wrapped since the fracture isn't that bad or at a joint.
hmm...sorry. i don't know what i'm talking about and i can't really type.
hehe.... using 2 fingers now. maybe i'll write more later... tata

Kung Hee Fat Choy! Happy Year of the Horse everyone... =) well this
month thus far has been rather busy... mainly with lung kong that is...
not too much gigs for balloon monsoon so actually that's pretty good for
me... works out since every weekend we have performances pretty much every
day... not to mention tonight when our club has 4 seperate performances...
so we're splitting up into 2 groups. well, that's the fun of it though..
hehe.. every year we go thru this... this upcoming weekend we got more...
friday at pearl city shopping center, saturday we got the temples around
town and ala moana with 5 other clubs at 1, and then sunday we got all the
chinese societies around town that we need to visit. wooo... really...
today should have been a holiday for us... it's chinese new years!
hehe... so tempted to stay home...

woohoo!!! ok... anyways... so i finally decided to buy another laptop.
ordered it last tuesday, and i got it yesterday. hehe... i actually
didn't think i was going to get it yesterday though... ok, well, orginally
dell's website (yeah i got a dell... =) ) didn't give me the tracking
number. i had it send overnight, priority mail, but i wasn't sure when it
was sent. on friday they updated the status that it was sent, but it
wasn't until monday that they posted that fedex picked it up... so i
wasn'st sure when i'd get it. so anyways, after calling around i got the
tracking number, checked fedex's website and saw that it was actually in
hawaii (got here late sunday night), and it was currently on a truck to be
delievered that day! frantically i called home to make sure that my mom
was home cause she stayed home... but she wasn't! haha... anyways, when
she got home she said that there wasn't a note on our gate so i was
relieved.. but then as 5 came around (they said it would be shipped before
5) they still hadn't came... i got home around 6, still no one... checked
their website... still on the truck... comes close to 7 i decided to call
fedex to find out if i could pick it up. lady tells me that they close
the depot centers at 7, so teh truck is probably back on it's way.
saddened, i keep checked fedex's website to see if it got back to the
depot center... 7:15, 7:20, 7:25, and finally 7:30... i give up all hope
in getting my laptop on monday... my dad would be home the next day
(today) so i guess it's not THAT bad... depressed i go to eat dinner when
i hear a ring at the gate... hahaha... practically running outside i see
a guy at the gate, no van though... damn! haha.. then i realize that it's
parked across the street... woohoo!!! hehehe... so yeah... i got my lappy
(yeah that's his name.. =) ).

augh... why are some people so immature? AUGH! my loving sister
just loves to bother me when i'm trying to do my homework... just finished
dinner and got on computer cause i need to do a program for my ics
class... sister comes in and wants to use computer to check her email. i
tell her i'm doing homework and all she can say is, "psh whatevers." so
she starts complaing about why i don't use my laptop, i say it's broken.
then she goes off about why don't i fix it... isn't it still under
warrenty, don't you know how to fix everything... blah blah blah... uh...
i did try to fix it... no, it's not under warrenty anymore (yes we did buy
it over a year ago, although she insisted that we didnt), and i did take
it into the computer store to fix and they pretty much told me it would
cost upwards to $2000 to fix, so why bother. then since that argument is
dead she starts whining that all i do is break everything and i don't eevn
take care of it... right...i'm really going to break my own laptop... i'm
sure eveyrone out there just goes every morning, "gee.. i think i'm going
to break something today... how about my car... maybe i'll drive it into a
light pole for the hell of it." sh*t... does she ever grow up? she has
her own computer why can't she just use that? all she needs to do is buy
a wireless card and she can use the router THAT I BOUGHT. sorry k, i gave
her an ethernet adapter THAT I BOUGHT so she could use the hard wire THAT
I BOUGHT hooked into the router THAT I BOUGHT but i guess there might be
something wrong with the cable... oh well... $75 of mine wasted... but
she can still just buy a wireless card and use the router anyways.. but
no... she chooses not to and complains that i don't do anything for her...
sorry k if i coudln't figure out what was wrong with the cable... i can't
fix it if the cable is broken... oh wait, i guess it's my fault anyways
that the cable is broken in the first place...
augh.... so anyways..... i got a program to do that isn't working.. and i
have a sister that's irritating me and accusing me of everything possible
like all i was doing since i got home was watch tv... and that was only
because when she came over i was watching tv... but i guess that means
that the entire 4 hours that i had been home prior to her arrival i was
watching tv... yep... i guess that's why i was the only one who was
helping my mom cook dinner and had just sat down for a break before
dinner... yep... but i guess none of that ever happened since the
almighty god that i have for a sister didnt' see it so she can assume
anything she wants.
sorry... see that's why i need my own laptop... i can't help it that I'M
MAJORING IN COMPUTER SCIENCE SO I JUST MIGHT NEED A COMPUTER EVERY NOW AND
THEN!!!! but oh wait... i'm just going to break it anyways right?

*yawn* hehe... yeah... so i haven't been writting in this for a while.
school started... and i'm trying to stay on track... getting all my work
done so so far so good. =)
well i did run into some problems with my webpage last week. i had
accidentally deleted a file from my account and had asked the system
administrators to help me restore it since they periodically back up the
entire system. anyways... so i emailed them, got a reply, saying that
they had backed up my entire webpage to a different folder. they deleted
the original... but what made it worse was that it wasnt' even my entire
webpage! some stuff was missing... and lots of things out of place... so
anyways.. emailed them back (btw, it wasn't really a admin helping me...
one of the other staff), asked them to just give me back my original
webpage... so they said sorry.. and then they said they put my page back
up... but what they gave me was 2 folders from my webpage... and those
folders wasn't even complete! augh... so yeah.. i had to email them back
once again.. this time a little anxious at the thought of losing my entire
page... so yeah.. they finally gave me back everything.. augh....

happy new year everyone! yes, it's 3 in the morning and i'm still

so tonight, did the usual... stayed home with family, burned... err..
fireworks... =) kinda scary though... i was outside... then i saw this

haha... doh! but he didn't say anything... so i guess it was alright...
but kinda made me paranoid for the rest of the night. yeesh... yeah...
tomorrow, well, later this morning rather we got our annual performances
at all the Daiei stores here for my chinese club. yep... gotta be at the
clubhouse by 8... woohoo!! it's half an hour later than normal. hehe...
hey i'll take that 1/2 hour thank you very much. =) something like the
fire department isn't letting daiei burn any fireworks until 9 or 830 or
something liek that... so yeah... we get to sleep a little longer...

so once again... it's time for our resolutions again... hehe... what's

of what i wanted. sorta... friday we worked at the ala moana macy's for
their grand opening. they hired us to do balloons for 3 hours. yeesh...
the line must have been at least 30 minutes and we were only making like
small/medium stuff. after that we had the liliha christmas parade with my
chinese club so had to do that... went to dave and busters after...
hehe... that place is pretty cool. too bad for the age limit though....
but don't matter to me. hehe...
yeah, so one thing that i really been meaning to do was clean my car...
saturday before our gigs at night i washed my car.. .but i still wanted to
clean it more so sunday i took out my seats, cleaned everything like
totally, vacummed and all. hehe... man, this is the cleanest my car has
ever been. so if any of you are planning on getting in my car, you better
be clean! hahah... yeah, and washed it again. so this weekend i washed
it 2 times! hahah... and it didn't rain! woohoo!!! though i shoudln't
speak so soon. hehe...
ok... sorry for just going on. hey! UH won against Air force! woohoo!!!
good game!!! now on to byu... haha... i don't know if that game will be
quite as good... hehe. planning on going to the game but i want more

haha... well, went to see Monsters Inc again with greg them on sunday
night since we didn't have school monday (veterans day! woohoo!). haha..
gotta love the short movie for the birds... if you didn't see it yet go

so anyways, might go on a trip this upcoming 4th of july break. there's
going to be a magic convention in san diego so greg asks us if we wanted
to go. if everyone goes then there'll be 5 of us. and after the
convention we're gonna head off to las vegas since all of us is 21.
woohoo! hehe... but yeah... should be fun! i just hope that i can
afford it. if i can save some money every weekend then it shoudlnt' be
too much of a problem.. just saving the money is another thing. sigh...
but yeah... we'll see... should be fun!
anyways.. installing XP on my laptop again. they finally released drivers
for my webcam so i think i'll have everything that i'll need. =) we'll

customers that they can't ask for a refund after the previews were over...
haha.. cause the last trailor for harry potter and the teaser for star
wars II both showed in the previews. along with ET... yeah, they're

well... didn't really do much this weekend. worked... worked... and

hehe... alright, so anyways, went to compusa like at 11:30, already had a
line in front so i was kinda worried that i wouldn't get what i wanted.
turns out that they were passing out the rebate forms to the first 10
people that wanted each item... cause they only had 10 per store of some
items. and then i find out that you need to buy XP for any rebate... even
the instant savings. augh... i thought it was just for the mail in rebate
which wasn't that much. the router came with a $110 instant rebate, and a
$20 mail in if you buy XP... i thought only the $20 was for XP, the $110
you could get anyways... nope... sigh... so i figured ot just go in and
get some of the other stuff they had anyways.
anyways... so walking around, looking for stuff.. then i see this one guy
walking around with an XP box... hehe.. hmm... from what i could see that
he was carrying he was only going to get that printer for free when buying
XP... and the offer allows you to get 2 items... so i figured to try my
luck and ask him if i could get the router with him... hehe.. so for his
troubles i let him have the $20 rebate, and just gave him the cash for the
router... =) hehe.. actually thought he didnt' make out too much, he
covered my tax. haha.. ah well... he still made a little money.. and i
got my router... =) so today before i came home i rushed over to compusa
and got the wireless card which i'm using now. =) i'm happy... =)
i'm kinda glad i went last night. they had some pretty good deals... even
got a dual digi cam/web cam... $50, but after mail in rebates it's free.
so that's pretty good. me and my brother both got one each so we're
getting 2 (they didn't receive their shipment for the cameras so we had to
preorder and they'll call when it comes in). hehe... so i'll have a
webcam soon! haha... we'll see how good that is... =)

haha... yesterday i got windows XP and office XP... hehe... installed
windows xp pro on my laptop... and loving it! hehe... it's kinda cool...
real vibrant and colorful for one... and they rearranged everything,
pretty much. of course you can always customize it so that it'll be like
the, "classic" windows but nah... i'm starting to like it. =) for one,
by default they got rid of everything on your desktop except for your
recycle bin... hehe... that's kinda cool... and neat though. you can now
access everything thru your start button (which is green btw... woohoo!).
kinda neat. supposedly it's the fastest loading windows and it loads
programs quicker and more efficiently (so saves on battery life if you're
on a laptop). i guess i'll test drive it and let you guys know how it is!
but so far so good! =) i went to bed late playing around with it last
night.. =) i even got screen captures if anyone wants to see....

woohoo! UH won their game today against Tulsa. and again, their starting
quarter back timmy chang didn't play due to injury. not that it's good to
have him hurt, but it's nice to see that uh can still execute their plays
withour their starting quarterback. hehe... this morning we had a
performance in china town. they had a fundraiser for the relief fund for
9.11.01. so we did a lion dance, and then we donated all the moeny we
collected to the fund. but they treated us to lunch at least! hehe... so
yeah, we had to be at the club by 8:30 in the morning... augh... too
early.. but not only that, the game started at 9 so all of us were trying
to huddle around a portable tv and watch the game. haha... craig and his
bad interference... heheh...
anyways... so today we had 2 gigs for balloon monsoon. first one we were
supposed to be there by 12:30... we got there, and no one was there. even
the person that called for teh gig wasn't there. everyone dind't start
coming until like almost 1, and even that, the lady that called us showed
up at like 1. i bet they were all watching the UH game! grrr!!!! sigh..
i mean, not that i mind or anything... but what if we had to be somewhere
else after? she didn't even say sorry or even mention anything about her
being late or why. just make like it didn't matter that we were waiting
around for over 1/2 an hour. sigh.. ah well... at least she tipped use
like $10 each. heh.... that actually surprised me...

just read this from president bush's statements from his press conference
yesterday, october 11, 2001. he was talking about how the people and the
children in afghan are... that for the children, one in three are orphans,
and almost half suffer chronic malnutrition. they started a fund for the
children and are asking american's children to each donate a dollar and
mail it in a envelope marked: "America’s Fund for Afghan Children"
and send it to the white house: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C.
hmm... sounds nice... i really like what he said after that though:

it's true though.. at least i think so... if we pull together as a nation

you know.... i guess ever since september 11, we've been at war... but
then i guess now it's beginning to really hit us how real it is. the us
and it's supporters against terrorism have started retalliation strikes
against afghanistan and all those who support and harbor terrorist.
honestly, i think that this campain will run over a long period of time,
though i'm hoping for a quick resolution to all of this.
i'm still in awe at the show of patriotism that i see around though. it
gives me a sense of pride and comfort that i've never known before. don't

taking pictures of all the flags, signs, etc that we see around. whenever

saw a commercial by Ad Council... pretty much it was all different people
saying, "I am American" pretty cool... i must say. they ended the
commercial with the quote, "e pluribus unum" or "out of many, one" if you
don't know, you'll find that quote on our money... but then you know, i
never thought about it before... like actually thought about the quote.
what it meant, why the put it on our money... etc. heh... kinda makes
sense now.
jay leno showed a picture that his father took a while ago... it was of a
small flower, growing out of a piece of stone... kinda symbolic.... "if
this little flower can do it... anyone can" yeah... it was a nice
picture.. just a polaroid... but still. it's comforting to see how so
many of our celebrities are setting examples and donating money and trying
to do anything possible to help. even jordan, who recently said he'll
return to the NBA with the wizards said that he'll donate his entire first
year's salary. wow... that's all i can say.
i still want to take a picture of the ribbons along the H1 on redhill...
trouble is i don't know how i'm going to do that! hehe... can't exactly
stop my car in the middle of the freeway... or can i... hahah... hmm...

wow... it's amazing... how much our country can pull together in a time of
crisis. american flags, red, white and blue ribbons selling like crazy
all over the nation. this shows you that the american spirit cannont be
damped by the cowardly actions of others.
with all the talk about sporting events being canceled for now... i
honestly understand. not only out of respect for those fallen and the
many more affected... but also because the players are also some of those
that have been affected directly. watching the news... you see some of
our very porfessional sports players... who we always look to and see as
strong and talented individuals... down to tears from the events that have
taken place. it's amazing how because of just a few... how many lives
have been changed. i do know that as a nation we can rise up over all
adversity... and show to these cowards the true american spirit.
i'm still in shock... and can't concentrate on anything really. i don't

i still can't believe my own eyes... american under attack. we alway see

yeah... i was late for work. just got in a little while ago... nearly an
hour late cause i was stuck in traffic for nearly an hour more than i
normally would have! augh... i'm so tired too... damn it... not
getting enough sleep... and it's only the beginning of the semester!
