About Us
The Lung Kong Physical Cultural Club teaches the lion dance to all willing
to learn. Performances
can be requested for any type of celebration. Lung Kong has made
appearances at many events including weddings, birthdays, grand openings,
anniversary parties, house warmings, and just recently for several events
for Jackie Chan during his stay here in Hawaii. Performances can be
requested by contacting the club at (808) 538-3434 on Tuesday and Friday
nights from 7 to 9. The club is a non-profit organization but it uses
it's donations from lion dance performances as well as from monthly dues
from it's members to support itself.
Lung Kong also teaches Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu
under the instruction of Grand Master Lau Yan Tak. Classes are held at
the club house and is taught by the master's son Alan Lau. The curriculum
includes warm-up exercises, hand sets, sparing sets, and various weapon
