WebCT Tips by Tracy Chagami
1. Firewalls
If you are running any sort of internet security (eg. firewall such as Zonealarm or Norton's), try turning it off temporarily to see if you can get in. If so, some firewalls let you train them to allow for certain sites to go through.

3. Internet Browser Settings Compatibility To WebCT
If you still experience problems, I would suggest you go through the following site which lists 4 areas (one of which was to enable your cookies as described above) to match against your browser settings such as java, cache and anonymous log in: http://www.webct.com/exchange/viewpage?name=exchange_browser_tuneup_windows_ie#prepare
4. Use an Alternate Internet Browser
You may want to try an alternative browser such as Netscape 7.x which can be downloaded from: http://www.webct.com/exchange/viewpage?name=exchange_browser_tuneup_information#download
or Mozilla 1.5:

5. Hijacking Software
There may be times when spyware is silently installed when surfing the Internet or installing certain “free” software that ends up redirecting people to search engines or another webpage. This URL hijacker can be difficult to remove and there is no one technique that works correctly everytime. You may want to take a look at the following websites below for more information.
For a description of the software and a possible solution see the following web page:

Sometimes even after you delete the program, you may have to reinstall your web browser.
