I recently received an announcement from SAA of two upcoming web seminars. The first will be on "Security in the Reading Room" on Tuesday 7 June at 2:30 p.m. CDT, which translates to 9:30 a.m. HST.

The second concerns converting data between MARC and EAD.  It will be held on Tuesday 19 July at the same time.

I would appreciate any feedback on interest among AHA members in attending one or both of these conferences.  The cost is usually minimal; I think the last time we did it here, it was free to those who did not wish to
have accompanying papers sent.  I would host it here in the Archives Reading Room, but would also invite Hamilton Library staff.  DNS in HL would set up the communications network so we can hear other participants
and send in comments and questions.
