ASSOCIATION OF HAWAII ARCHIVISTS
Board Meeting, 9 February 2008

Present: Andrew Wertheimer, Susan Shaner, Barbara Dunn, Maja Clark, Laura Gerwitz, Rae C. Shiraki, Judith Kearney, Helen Wong Smith, and Matthew Yim

Andrew called the meeting to order at 4:05. The purpose of the brief meeting was to plan a time the board could meet. The board will next meet on Friday, 22 Feb 2008 at 5:30 pm at the State Archives.

Starting in March, the board will meet on the third Monday of the month at 5:30 at the State Archives. Regular board meetings may be cancelled if there is no issue pending or if we could meet after a regular meeting. Starting in March, the normal tentative meeting time dates will be:

• March 17
• April 21
• May 19
• June 16
• July 21
• August 18
• September 15
• October 20 (reschedule or cancel)
• November 17
• November 15
• December 22
• January 19
• February 16

The board also welcomed three new board members and the president elect:

• President-elect: Susan Shaner
• Board Member 2 (2008 - 10): Maja Clark
• Board Member 4 (2008 - 10): Rae C. Shiraki
• Board Member 6 (2008 - 10): Matthew Yim

Clark agreed to serve as Secretary, Gerwitz agreed to continue as Treasurer, and Judith Kearney agreed to continue as Newsletter Editor.
