Board Meeting February 14,

Newly-elected
President Cartwright called the meeting to order at 2:05.
There
has been some planning for the annual meeting to be on Lanai, possibly in 2005.
Ogburn will give materials she has to Cartwright. The 2005 annual meeting will
be on the Saturday before the Presidents Day holiday.
MONTHLY
BOARD MEETINGS
We tentatively settled on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at
5:30, in the Archives Reading Room, Hamilton Library, UH Manoa campus.
Cartwright will authorize reimbursement of parking fees for those attending,
mechanics to be worked out later. [Later: Jim emailed us with the proposal that
meetings be on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:15 - same venue.] Cartwright
said he will ask each officer and committee chair to present a report at each board
meeting.
Cartwright
described the duties of the officer and board member positions. After
discussions, nominations and volunteering by those present, the following
people and positions were approved:

volunteered to create a web site for AHA. We enthusiastically accepted. He
asked that we send ideas for format and content to him at: wertheim@hawaii.edu

ROSTER

Smith will get the latest membership roster from Gina and give it to Chapman.
Wong
Smith will ask Gina for a list of attendees at today's annual meeting for
distribution to all AHA members.
The
meeting was adjourned at 2:50.
