Send manuscripts and letters of inquiry through email to weisser@fau.edu or through postal mail to Christian Weisser, Editor; Composition Forum; Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University; 5353 Parkside Drive; Jupiter, FL 33458. When sending by postal mail, please send three copies of your manuscript, stripped of any identifying information. Do not sent diskettes, as they will be requested once articles are accepted for publication. The average length of articles published in Composition Forum is between 2,500 and 6,000 words, although longer articles may be considered if they are clearly of superior quality. All manuscripts should be typed and double spaced, including quotations, endnotes, and works cited list. Follow the latest MLA Handbook guidlelines and the Columbia Guide to Online Style. Manuscripts judged by the editor to be appropriate for the journal are submitted to blind review by external readers. Ordinarily, decisions will be made within twelve weeks of submission. The editor maintains responsibility for the selection.

Book review queries should be sent to Derek Owens through email at owensd@stjohns.edu. The average length of reviews published in Composition Forum is between 750-1500 words, but the editors welcome queries regarding longer review essays. Suggestions for books to be reviewed are encouraged, as are requests to be placed on our list of reviewers. Completed book reviews should be sent as Word or WordPerfect attachments through email to Derek.

Reader Response essays should be no longer than 2,500 words and should address in a substantive way one or more articles previously published in the journal. Programs and Courses essays should contain descriptions of writing program practices or courses in writing with a clear discussion of the pedagogical theories that inform those practices or courses.
