What is art? Many people ask this question. There have also been many different answers. Here is a site with a story asking what art is. You can view it here.

Here you can see a webpage that sells "original" art. I agree that it is original, but art? Im not so sure. You can view that here. Everyone has their own view of art. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. Enjoy all!

Overworked, underpaid, unemployed? Try Monster.com. This is a job search engine, that is frequently advertised over the radio on Oahu. You can keep a copy of your resume on this site, and many businesses will search for people. You can also search for the "Job of your dreams" and apply. It may be limited to certain areas mainly because not everyone lives in the same area, and so jobs may be farther than you thought. Another good place you could look would be Careerbuilder.com. Sometimes it is better to use the classifieds, and other times the internet. Happy job hunting!

Too much of anything is bad. Video games included. There are many games out there that pull people out of reality into a fun world where they can be anything and do anything. Many people use these games to relieve stress, let go and sometimes be someone they cant express in their reality. Many people believe that games are cool, and fun. I agree to a point. Games can be deadly if taken too lightly. They can make you forget everything. Food, time, work, life in general. But wasn't that why it was made? To make people forget about anything else?

If you look at "Death of a game addict" you will see what happend to someone who was playing Everquest. Everquest is an online RPG, where you raise a character in this world of fantasy and fun. I have never played Everquest because there was too much Pkilling (Players killing other players). Although I haven't played Everquest. I have played FFXI (Final Fantasy XI). This game does have a warning at the beginning before you even log in, every single time you log in. It talks about how that even though the game is a unique experience, the person playing should not forget friends, family and work. It is very true, and the warning should not be taken lightly.

If you find yourself losing time, set an alarm before you play for the amount of time you have to play. If you feel hungry eat, if you feel tired sleep. Dont forget the basics. It is true that video games can trap you, but the company is not the one to blame. They are doing what people want. Making games. It is the responsibility of the people who purchase the game to keep track of their obligations. Just as D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) led many people to suicide, so can RPG games. People must remember that IT IS JUST A GAME! If your character dies, you shouldnt get mad, upset or kill yourself. Thats just plain stupid. It may not seem like it at the time, but from outside perspectives, you do not seem to grasp reality very well.

The link above will take you to a story about a video game addict, and what family and others say about these types of online games. They also have a section of warning symptoms that you can use to diagnose if anyone close to you is addicted. At the bottom of the page they have links to the Everquest site, A site about media and the family, and a site for Internet/Comptuer Addiction Services.

Lately video games have been all the rave! From Everquest to Warcraft, PS2 to PC. Lots of people play these games for entertainment. To distract them from work, and to have fun. Though these games are fun, they can also be very difficult. Ive come to find that many people also spend their time making strategies and sites that can help other people. Gamefaqs is a common place to look for game hits, tips and walkthroughs for almost any game. It has tips for games from PS2, Gamecube, X-Box, Dreamcast, PC, and many more.

Everyone likes to go to the movies right? Sometimes its for entertainment, or for the kids. Sometimes its for religious reasons, or that you are just plain bored. Well a good place to go look up what movies are showing in your neighborhood is at Yahoo!. They have a search where you can enter your zip code and they will show you the theatres nearest you and what movies those theatres are showing.

Ok, imagine this. You want to see this movie at a certain time, but oh no! You're running late. But wait! You remember that this theater always showed that weird paper bag comercial. What was it called? Fandango. You can do two things. Through yahoo, for certain theatres, you can link to fandango, or you can go directly to fandango and search for participating theatres near you!

That's all I have for now my friendly movie goers! Sit back and enjoy the popcorn.

During this week I relearned how much I love my chat clients. Many call them Instant Messengers. There are many out there and a few that let you acess the few popular ones simultaneously. There is AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, IRC & ICQ.

AIM is a good Messenger, being the first messenger that I have used. It has the basic Smileys, fonts, colors, and buddy lists. You can own as many accounts as you like, but can only sign on one at a time.

MSN is not one of my favorites. I use it mainly to keep in touch with those stubborn few who use MSN and dont wish to change. Mainly my family.

I have not tried IRC or ICQ.

When I tried Yahoo!, I appreciated the fact that they allow you to use these special color effects that are only found on Yahoo!. It can really individualize the user to their moods.

I first found Instant Messengers with AOL. It had been a very interesting experience. I could go to a chat room, and make a friend from places around the world. I do warn you that some of the rooms are very inappropriate for young children, and sometimes teenagers. The risk about people with fake identities. In a chat room anyone can be anything, rude, polite, and also invasive.

If you have someone that begins to harass you, then you have a choice to either take it, or to block that screen name from sending you messages. Usually you can apply these settings in your preferences.

I haven't found an image yet, but I am still looking. Though a good place to look for background images would be at Anime Wallpapers.

That is a good place where people take the anime that they love and make computer wallpapers for free. I dont consider it as piracy because even though they are taking one person's idea, they are using that idea to create their own idea. In the end it still looks like the anime from which it came, but was not originally created by the creator. Besides, I have never seen anime screensavers or wallpapers in the market for computers. Probably never will happen, but at the moment it is free.

I dont really play on the web and look for cool things, but one thing that I was fond of were two sites that are free games. Neopets and Samurai War. These two sites are really fun and free. Here is an inside look as to what they are about.

Neopets is a site for all ages where there are free games and an online pet for you to take care of. There are many games and quests. There are items you can collect and chat rooms to meet people in. They even have their own neomail. There are so many things to try and do that it seems almost impossible to do it all. They started out small and have broken into the big market world as they have items ranging from dolls to boardgames. They even have their own collectors card game out in stores now!

Samurai war is an online site that is like a web page game dealing with links. You are basically a person who is trying to become the strongest samurai warrior out there. They reset the game once a month, but you are actually playing for a prize worth $200. Most people dont play for the prize but for the sheer enjoyment of it. They also have a side site for RPG where they never reset the levels. Basically at the beginning of the month you start out as level 25. People who happen across the site can start later in the month but are less likely to win the prize. I am not sure how long they have been running this site, but basically you can get others to play by trapping them, or just inviting them. The system works like this: You start out with a power of 25 and you use stamina/endurance to kill something for money. With that money you can train to buy more strength, agility, dexterity, endurance, or health. If you carry too much money around you will likely get killed by someone stronger than you, which is why it is a good reason to use the bank to hold money. But be warned, it can only hold so much.

That's about it for now, have fun and happy hunting.

Well this is the first time I am doing this, so lets see. Might add a background image later if I can find one that wont disrupt the font.

Let's have a look at the first site. Google News is a site I found when I went to google to search for images and sites about stuff. I never really noticed that they had a news section as well. It seems very intersting as well because it puts up the latest stories and says how long ago it was posted.

Phil had showed me an article from Fark.com where this man sued alot of people mainly google for hosting misleading information about him and his firm. So I figured that I would type in my name at google and see what showed up. Try it, might be fun.
