Assignment Instructions

Follow the instructions given in the slides to do the following:

Download the assignment.htm file to your desktop.

Change the name to assignment2.htm
-
Use a text editor
to make the following changes:

Change Lastname, Firstname in the
<title>
element to your last name and your first name.

In the
<p>
element,
display an interesting quote that you like.

If you cannot think of a quote, search on Google using keyword quote and pick a quote at random.

If you know the author of the quote, be sure to include that person's name as well.

If you do not know the author, put Unknown.
-
If it is your quote, put your name.

Here is an example quote:
"猿も木から落ちる" (Even monkeys fall from trees) - Japanese proverb

Keep the content of your web page tasteful and legal.

Use SHH or Fugu to publish assignment2.htm on your UH UNIX account in the dmed120 folder.

If you are useing a PC, follow the SHH Instructions

If you are useing a Mac, follow the Fugu Instructions

View your web page at the URL
http://www2.hawaii.edu/~username/dmed120/assignment2.htm
(where username is your UH UNIX username).

Click on the validator icons at the bottom of your webpage.

If the color is green, you are done.
-
If the color is red, you have trouble-shooting to do on your webpage.
