Tet Celebration: APPRECIATION LETTER FROM VSAH!
Thank you all for your hard work and enthusiastic participation in our Tet celebration. It was great fun to work and enjoy together. I really feel proud of our group. Our guests were very impressed by our collective spirit. Special thanks to the members of VSAH who have been working hard to prepare for this celebration tonight---those who provided for the decorations, those who prepared the food, and those who entertained us! As you know, the past year we celebrated graduation together, gained recognition for VSAH by the University, sponsored a fun orientation for newcomers and had many parties and barbecues together, we learned to dance together and engage in sporting activities, put on performances for our community, created a web page for our Association, sponsored a trip to the Big Island ---and, 4 student couples celebrated their wedding. We have done all of these things and we are only midway through the academic year. It is quite amazing. I hope we can continue this momentum for the rest of the academic year and I ask for your continued support and participation. Someone told me just before our dinner that he thought our Association was a great one because we “move forward together”. I think that is a good observation, and I hope we can---each of us, begin our new year in that spirit I also want to thanks very much to our special guests who had come to help us celebrate TET 2007, Professor Tung Bui's family, Professor John Southworth, Dr. Hanh Nguyen's family, Co chu Thanh Lo and other friends from different schools and offices. S pecial thanks to Mrs Mendle Djunaiday (LCP Associate Dean, EWC), co Kim Thu, vo chong co chu bac si Huynh Thanh, vo chong anh chi Vinh and Andy for their support and help in our Tet Celebration. One again, on behalf of the Board of VSAH, it is my honor to thank you all for coming and supporting our Tet Celebration. I wish everyone a new year full of joy and happiness.
On behalf of the Board Tu Anh Vu VASH President
