Hobbies

I am a doctoral student in Second Language Acquisition in the Department of Second Language Studies (formerly known as Department of English as a Second Language) at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. I have a Master of Arts (English as a Second Language) from the University of Hawai'i, Master of Arts (English Language Education) from the Graduate School of Education at Shinshu University (Nagano, Japan), and Bachelor of Arts (English Language Education) from the Faculty of Education at Shinshu University.

I teach undergraduate courses in Second Language Studies as well as English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at the English Language Insitute (ELI), University of Hawai'i at Manoa. I have also been the reading lead teacher for the ELI since August 2000.
