Students must satisfy all undergraduate prerequisites:

MFA and MA degrees except dance ethnology
Music Theory for Dancers
Dance Production
Dance Kinesiology
Intermediate Labanotation
Dance Improvisation
Dance Composition (2 semesters)
Dance History (2 semesters)
Proficiency in Ballet and Modern Technique

MA degree in Dance Ethnology

Music Theory for Dance
*Dance Production
Dance Kinesiology
Intermediate Labanotation
*Dance Improvisation
*Dance Composition (2 semesters)
Dance History (2 semesters)
*Proficiency in Ballet, Modern, or an Asian or Pacific Tradition

*Anthropology or relevant areas may be substituted
