Master's Degree in Dance

The MA degrees are more theoretical in nature, allowing students to focus on particular areas of dance and gain preparation for advanced research in dance or for non-performance careers.

There are two tracks in the MA degree: Dance Ethnology and Dance Education. The Dance Ethnology concentration requires a written thesis. The Dance Education concentration requires additional course-work in lieu of a thesis.
