Financial SupportMore than 500 scholarships are available to students on the University of Hawai'i at Manoa campus. Some are administered system-wide through the UH financial aids office and are open to students of all majors. Some are administered through the department of theatre and dance and directly relate to dance studies. Criteria vary, and include such things as: individuals of specific ethnic minority groups, study that focuses on Asia or the Pacific, students from local high schools, academic excellence, financial need, musical theatre specialization, and language study. A limited number of tuition waivers are available through the Department
of Theatre and Dance. Full-time undergraduate students in good academic
standing are eligible to apply. Waivers are normally for one academic
year, subject to continued eligibility. Students must pay their own
fees. Apply to the Director of Dance.
