- Users are encouraged to follow a specific course when navigating through this website in order to develop a greater
understanding of the information communication technology architectures of Hawaii. Users will find that much of the text on this
website contains links to relative internal definitions or external resources.
- Users should spend a significant amount of time on each page of the website until they are able to familiarize themselves
with the terms and ideas being presented.
- The following lists the path that we encourage our users to take while searching this website. Outlined below are the titles
of each page, and the user learning objectives set out for each:
1. About Website- Read this section to
understand more about our
inspirations for creating this site, and to see which of
our academic interests comply with your own. By identifying your common interests with ours, you should be aware of what sections of the
website are more applicable to you in your search.
2. HI Telecom- This section of the website will
provide users with a general background on Hawaii's ICT architectures. Users
will be able to grasp the concept of how the different architectures operate independently as well as interdependently as a system.
3. Social/Cultural Elements- This section of
the website provides a fully developed model of how we view Hawaii's social ICT architectures, and will hopefully provide you with a greater understanding of its place and significance in Hawaii.
4. Models- Browse through Tasha and Lauren's
depictions of the different ICT architectures and their functions in
Hawaii.
