parents of a 7-pound, 7-ounce girl who has yet to be named.

----
UH home football games will start at 6 p.m. this season, an hour earlier
than seasons past. The move was made as a result of a survey of fans, who
said that an earlier kickoff was preferable. "It gives fans more time
after games to celebrate our wins," said an optimistic UH athletic
director Hugh Yoshida.
