I get a big kick out of reading all the hiking tales! I lived in Mokuleia from '64 to '69, as a kid. Went on boy scout hikes to the hills above Dillingham, Pupukea, Wahiawa and Opaeula. Loved it. Will come back one of these days. Come, check out the southern Sierra:
