Assignment 1

Due Time/Date: Tuesday February 17th, 2004 at 10:00 p.m. UH-unix time
What to do Writa a program Dates.java, that will take a date as input and will verify if it is a valid date.
You must add JAVADOC style comments to your java code You should use the UH-ICS Java coding standard for this project.

How to 

turn in 

your homework?

  • Send e-mail to ics111-homework@hawaii.edu.  The subject of the e-mail should be "Dates/lastname" Don't include the quotes. Lastname should be substituted for your own lastname. The subject of the e-mail should be exactly as shown or you will get points deducted.

  • The name of the java program should be  Dates.java Attach your JAVA code to your e-mail.
  • Please make sure that your program runs properly in UNIXenvironment will be tested.

You will follow the instructions on Page 49 of your Lab Manual. Keep in mind that in our class, we use our own way to read from the user, as we have done in the labs.
