Welcome Back!
An Introduction from Brandy

Aloha and welcome to the website that brings food to life!

The Food Science & Human Nutrition (FSHN) Council is a student run organization at the University of Hawaii at Manoa that strives to nurture students' interest in dietetics, research, community wellness, and nutrition.

Comprised of students interested in many aspects of nutritional health & wellness, the FSHN Council meets monthly to discuss new trends in nutrition, the array of career choices for registered dietitians (RD) & nutritionists, and ways to make a difference in the community. From the classroom to the kitchen, we work together and have fun with all things food related!

With council members involved in the Hawaii Dietetic Association (HDA), as well as the American Dietetic Association (ADA), we have access to the latest news in nutrition and an exceptionally valuable professional network.

Want to learn more about food science and the FSHN Council? Check out our website to see what the FSHN Council is cooking up at the University of Hawaii and in the community!
