Tea Ceremony

 

teawoman.jpg (5870 bytes) To begin the tea ceremony the host will be sitting formally with tea bowl, scoop, and whisk before entering the room.
She will then cleanse the bowl using hot water before she puts the tea water inside.

She adds the tea powder to the hot water and whisks it into a thick broth. After stirring, the host will bow to the intended consumer to drink.
