Professional Experiences

I have built up my expertise in business process analysis when I worked for Institute for Information Technology Innovation (KU-INOVA), Kasetsart University. I started out with the modeling and analysis of as-is processes used in exporting strategic products from Thailand to major export markets and the development of recommendations on how to improve those processes. These projects were initiated in response to Thailand’s national policy toward the establishment of National Single Window for the paperless trade and national obligation toward the establishment of ASEAN Single Window.

Given my experience in business process analysis and my knowledge of the international trade procedures, I was recruited as a lead author in the joint UNECE and UNESCAP project on the development of the UNNeXT Guide to Business Process Analysis to Simplify Trade Procedures. The Guide was completed in 2009 and has been used by many countries in Asia and the Pacific region.

I also have an expertise in data analysis and data harmonization which I have gained through my active participation in UN/CEFACT TBG2 Working Group on Digital Paper. What I learned from UN/CEFACT TBG2 enabled me to set up and provide a technical guidance to a team of data modelers responsible for analyzing and harmonizing data requirements of various government agencies as well as trade and transport community involved in the international trade. It also enabled me to develop the APEC Handbook for Data Harmonization towards Single Window Paperless Environment which provides a step-by-step approach on how to analyze data requirements and harmonize them with the international standard.

My involvement in the establishment of National Single Window for the paperless trade in Thailand also resulted in my participation in the development of Single Window Implementation Framework. The project was funded by the European Commission and led by ITAIDE.
