BRENT BARRY

IS

A

BASKETBALL GOD!!

Obviously the people of Chicago had no appreciation for the explosive Brent Barry and traded him away for jump-shooting has been Hersey Hawkins. Brent averaged 11.8 points, 3.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds (as well as 1.3 steals) in 80 games as he led the Sonics to the playoffs as their shooting guard this season. Obviously Brent has nowhere to go but up!

Up yours MJ!

Brent Barry harkening back to the days of Julius Erving in winning the 1996 slam dunk championship.

Brent Barry Career Highlights!

Graduates from Oregon State University as its greatest player ever.
Drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the first round. The Nuggets desperately needed a shooting guard at this point. they trade Brent to the L.A Clippers and have been sucking ever since.
Wins the 1996 All-Star Weekend slam dunk contest giving a shout-out to Dr. J along the way. He also makes all the other rookies look stupid during the Rookie All-Star game.
Traded to the Miami Heat for Ike Austin but doesn't play because Pat Riley wants to prove that he can win without a superstar playing all the time. He can't. Heat lose to the Knicks in the first round.
Signs as a free agent with the Chicago Bulls and becomes "air apparent."
Traded by the hapless Bulls who wouldn't recognize talent if it bit them on the asses to the Sonics who are too caught up in the hype around Gary Payton to get Brent the ball as much as he deserves.
Leads the Sonics to the playoffs in his first year there.

It's fairly obvious that Brent's career has nowhere to go but up! Fly Brent, Fly!

Here's Brent, showing the Pacers that they didn't deserve to be in the finals in the first place.
Despite being totally unappreciated, Brent played his heart out for the people of Chicago. Here he's shooting over noted New York waste of roster space Charlie Ward.
Alonzo,
Timmy, you can't touch the White Thunder! I
will have my revenge on you all!
This magazine makes it official: Brent was too cool for Miami anyway.
Brent is no stranger to carrying teams. From the Clippers, to the Heat, to the Bulls and now the Sonics.

Climb on Brent Barry's back and fly on back home!
