Canute: the saga continues.

Updated October 12, 2001
Canute has been around for a while now, and has sailed many of the waters around Oahu. The various fittings have evolved, and a sail rig developed.  These first two pictures are in Kailua Bay with the final rig, full-batten main and mizzen, with a hankerchief jib on an endless halyard.
Canute usually travels on top of the car, but occasionally needs to go further off road than is comfortable to carry. So we have a set of wheels.

Seating. <Pictures of the seat and backrest to go here.>

Paddles:  <Maybe some links to more useful pages for actual building.>

This is an earlier rig, using the sliding gunter rig from the Montana's tender, with a nice new tapered mast.  Still using the highly experimental fiber/film laminate standing lug mizzen.  This picture is in Ke'ehi Lagoon.    We capsized shortly after this picture was taken, so we don't use so tall a sail anymore.

And here on the downwind leg.

And we need a cartop/carry picture.
