Aloha - e komo mai! Welcome to the table — This site describes a proposal for a cross-cultural collaborative film project at the University of Hawai‘i, looking at the ways food is used to articulate cultural traditions and intercultural fluency. Essentially, it combines an ongoing filmmaking workshop with the interest and pleasure of people getting together to eat.

Through January 2007 I will be assessing the feasibilty of this project, including finding out if there would be enough interested collaborators.
If you are a resident of the East-West Center and interested in food and film, please consider participating. If I can get everything lined up we might begin this project in February.
