Unified Positivism
 

The philosophy of science of psychology that is part of PB calls for very large changes in the operation and study of psychology. For example, it is the unified positivism position that there has been a deficit in the study of the theory needs of psychology and of the types of theory required for fulfilling those needs. Theory is needed to establish the commonality of the multitudes of redundant concepts and principles in psychology. Theory is needed to establish the common underlying principles involved in phenomena now considered as different. How to construct overarching unified theory needs study. Presently there is little understanding of such theory or the need for studying the subject, strange as it may seem in a science with crying need for such theory. Unified positivism works have outlined various areas of research that call for many studies.
