Biographical Sketch Aloha mai! My name is Shelley Kanani De Sa and I am a graduate student in the Library and Information Science Master's Program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I was born and raised on the island of Maui and now I reside on the Big Island with my husband and our three children. I'm currently the elementary librarian at the Kamehameha Schools Hawai'i Campus.and the K-12 librarian for Ke Kula O Nawahiokalani'opu'u Hawaiian Immersion School in Kea'au. Prior to my librarian positions, I was a teacher for 10 years in the public school system. My hobbies are walking, cardio-kick boxing, hula, and spending time with my husband and children. I have taken two ETEC online courses and I have learned how to use PowerPoint for presentations, Excel as a grade book, and how to create an electronic portfolio using Dreamweaver. This course has taught me how to be creative in utilizing the various technology tools and how to integrate technology across the curriculm. |
