Here are some sites that I would recommend to Elementary Librarians and Teachers.

1. Transforming Teaching Through Technology - Jordan School District

This website offers educators with a wide variety of lesson plans, technology tips, activity templates, ideas and resources. Educatiors can gain some basic computer skill tips when integrating technology into classroom curriculum and learn how to create multimedia projects using AppleWorks, Microsoft Word, KidPix Studio, Kidspiration as well as composing original tunes using garageband.

 

2. KidsClick! Web Search for Kids by Librarians

KidsClick! was created by a group of librarians to help guide young users to valuable and age appropriate online resources. From lessons to pictures, this site captures everything from facts & references to geography, histroy, and biography. This site allow users to look at it from a librarian's eyes (dewey decimal classification) as well as by subject areas. There are over 600 subjects to search from.

 

3. Internet Library for Librarians

A portal designed for Librarians to locate internet resources related to their profession. A popular information resource site for librarians since 1994. Internet Library for Librarians provides links to more than 3,000 resources and all the resources are recommended, selected, and reviewed by librarians.
