arrow The Interpersonal and Small Group Interest Group instituted the "Top Paper Award" and "Top Student Paper Award" beginning in 1996. The Top Paper Award is given to the highest ranking paper as determined by the Vice Chair's rankings. The Top Student Paper Award is given to the top-ranked paper authored by a student or group of students. Papers co-authored by faculty members are not eligible for the Top Student Paper Award. If the Top Paper and Top Student Paper are the same, then one Top Paper Award award is given for both.
