Choose a browser INTERNET EXPLORER or NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR (users of Nescape Navigator may encounter difficulties reading some Chinese characters.)

 In the URL window, type in the address: http://www2.hawaii.edu/~shaoling/FP.htm

      A page with two frames (left and right) will pop out

  In the LEFT frame, click on

I. Welcome to CHN 201 practices for the welcome page for both listening and reading                  exercises.

    Click on the sound image for listening exercises

    Click on the book image for reading exercises

                                        OR

II. Go to CHN 201 Listening which directly enters the listening exercise page

     Go to CHN 201 Reading which directly enters the reading exercise page

In the Listening Exercise Menu, click on 第 一 課 for Lesson One, 第 二 課 for Lesson Two,and so on.      

In each lesson,

If there are more than one questions, click on the image "click me" and " 第 課 " to listen to the dialogue.
If a lesson has only one question, click on the underlined question to listen to the dialogue.

Inform students that they can reset their answers by clicking on the [reset] bar and check their answer by clicking on the [check answer] bar.
Click on the HOME icon to go to the main page and click on the BACK icon to go back to the Listening Exercise Menu.
                               

In the Reading Exercise Menu, click on 第 一 課 for Lesson One, 第 二 課 for Lesson Two,and so on.

In each lesson,

The text is in the table to the left and the questions are in the table to the right.
Click on the unfamiliar or new words for glossing.

Inform students that they can reset their answers by clicking on the [reset] bar and check their answer by clicking on the [check answer] bar.
Click on the HOME icon to go to the main page and click on the BACK icon to go
 back to the Reading Exercise Menu.
