Why international students do not use cafeteria so often?

Taro:
Good afternoon! Welcome to KCC news online edition. I am Taro Maki.
Hyesook:
And I am Hyesook Park.
Taro:
Today, we will focus on cafeteria. Many students use cafeteria, so it is one of the most useful institution in KCC. But many international students do not use cafeteria so often. Today’s news is “ why international students do not use cafeteria so often?”
Hyesook:

Tomo:
Hi, I am Tomo. How are you doing? I am in front of cafeteria right now. It is located OHIA 2nd floor. I have ever used here only for once before. How often do you guys use cafeteria?
Taro:
I have ever been there for twice, so I do not enough time to eat at cafeteria. How about Hyesook?
Hyesook:
Me neither. I always bring my lunch, so I do not need to go there.
Taro:
Do you know why the many international students do not use cafeteria? You know what the reason is. Can you see some international students there right now, Tomo?
Tomo:
Yes, I am going to the inside. Actually, I came here earlier to interview some students around noon. There were many international students. But it is already 4 o’clock so many students are going home.
This is cafeteria. There are 48 tables. It is big space but little bit dark. I interviewed some international ESOL students, they said they do not use cafeteria so often, because it is little far from our buildings and there is not good foods. Also they want to eat and study the same time.
On the other hand international regular students said they sometimes use cafeteria because they can stop by here to get some foods before going to their class. But they also said there is not good foods. These are some reasons. What do you think about it?
Taro:
I agree with Tomo’s report. What do you think, hyesook?
Hyesook:
We have some ways to buy some foods. For example, there are cafeteria, subway and so on. I think almost all students use subway more than cafeteria. In my case, our class starts about around lunchtime so I cannot go there to eat lunch. Subway is cheaper and more delicious than cafeteria. Also I prefer subway to cafeteria.
Taro:
Unfortunately, cafeteria is not popular among international students. It developed that they had some reasons. I agree with them. However, cafeteria is good place to take a rest and enjoy talking with friends, if you want.
