Style Sheet

The principal mission of Explorations is to offer a forum for students to present disciplinary and interdisciplinary research on a broad range of issues relating principally to the region which today constitutes Southeast Asia. It is hoped that this forum will introduce students of Southeast Asia from throughout the University to the work of their colleagues, encourage discussion both within and across disciplines, and foster a University wide sense of community among those interested in Southeast Asia. Due to the journal's embrace of academic diversity, the editors have endeavored to place as few restrictions as possible on the format of articles submitted for publication. Authors are encouraged to adhere to the stylistic standards of their discipline or program (please see the Notes and References guidlines below) and to ensure that the content and form of the manuscript is clear, consistent, and complete. Manuscripts submitted for consideration must not have been previously published, nor should they be under consideration by another publication.

Submissions should be sent to Explorations, Center for Southeast Asian Studies, University of Hawai`i at Manoa, 1890 East-West Road, Honolulu HI 96822. For questions, comments, and/or suggestions please e-mail Explorations at seassa@hawaii.edu.
