This is a map of southern China. The blue circle is the approximate site of Pun Sa Village. Pun Sa means "half sand" as the village was on the banks of the Zhujiang estuary that flows into the South China Sea.
This is an enlarged map of the Pearl River Delta. This was the main trade route to Canton, China. It was along this route that laborers and immigrants made passage to the Hawaiian Islands. Pun Sa Village was part of the See Dai Doo District.
