I am a Student from India studying for PhD degree in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management at University of Hawaii-Manoa. I did my bachelor (B.Tech.) degree in Agricultural Engineering from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur and master (M.Tech.) degree in Agricultural Systems and Management from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur , India . After graduating from IIT, I joined one of the India 's premier micro irrigation company known as Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd.. I worked with the company for few months before leaving to Hawaii for higher studies.

Currently I am working on my dissertation entitled “A Study on Variability of Hydrological Processes Attributed by Climate Change, Land Cover/Land Use Change and Groundwater Pumping in MAKAHA Watershed, Oahu ”. The study mostly focused on understanding the response of water budget components to the change in ecosystem by integrating in-situ field observations, historical climate data, and satellite data with hydrologic modeling. I have been analyzing the historical climate data specifically temperature and precipitation for possible trend. I am also trying to explore the response and interaction of streamflow with changing environment specifically climate forcing and land use pattern. The declined in streamflow will be investigated with the use of hydrologic modeling and statistical tools. The response of watershed water budget to future climate projection and land use will also be investigated.
